When it's even the slightest bit overcast customers come out of the woodwork like slugs in the garden on a rainy day. Yesterday, which was gorgeous, there was nary a customer in sight... Why is that? You'd think it'd be the opposite phenomenon. Make hay while the sun shines and all that.
So, word to the wise - come in on a sunny day!

- A Daly's employee since birth, I swear that sometimes I have Daly's Benite running through me veins! My Grandfather was a designer in the 1930's (before we were called that), and my grandmother led the business as a young widow in the 50's when many Mom's stayed at home. You might think that not much has changed in the paint world since the 1950's... I mean, it's still just paint, right? However, I wonder what my grandfather or grandmother would think if they saw the stores today... That being said, the Paint Princess path often takes interesting turns and changes directions; keeps life interesting.
